Tooth and bone review

Gordon saved his teeth for a good reason. Gordon used them to trick old people into giving him candy. Gordon and his friends took bones from his Uncle Ivan’s butcher shop dumpster to make a skeleton. Gordon put the baby teeth he had saved into the bag too. Gordon forgot about the bag of bones and teeth and left them at a store. Gordon’s teacher, Mrs.Hoagsbrith, let Gordon go back to the store where he had left the bones that morning . Gordon took a long time to come back to school so Mr. Evans , the principal, went to see where he was. Gordon got locked in a police car and policemen asked Mr.Evans, “Do you know this kid?” and he said “I taught this kid everything”, and then Mr. Evans got locked in the police car too. The head policeman said to the other police man, “I know this guy”. They let Mr. Evans out of the police car and then Mr. Evans explained to the cops that Gordon was one of his students. Gordon told the cops that Mrs.Hoagsbrith said that he could go to the store. The cops went to the school to arrest Mrs.Hoagsbrith. My friends Jacksen and Adam.B

Me and my friends Adam and Jacksen are so nice. We joke around and have the same interests.  Adam and I are reading the same book so we can see each others opinions on the book.  Adam is also very athletic and is good at soccer.  Jacksen loves hockey he said when he is older he wants to be a hockey player or a biologist. We always play together around the school from tag to just walking. Adam and Jacksen live in Hyde Creek and I live in Port Mcneill so we can’t play together after school so we play as much as we can at school.

My Hero

My Hero is Carl Hiaasen because he makes really good books snd because I couldn’t think of anyone else. Here is some of his book titles Scat, The Downhill Lie, Nature Girl, Flush, and Hoot.  He was writing about Flordia since his father gave him a typewriter at age 6.  Carl Hiaasen was born on 12-Mar-1953 and is still alive he lives in Flodia.  He has a blue fender strat and is making a new book called chomp which is coming out in march.  Carl Hiaasen has made 22 books and hasn’t completed 2 of his books. I hoped you liked it.

 

 

 

My Favourite Video Games Journal 4- Jan 25

These are my  favourite video games I hope you enjoy it.

My top favourite video game is Super Smash Bros Brawl because it has my favourite video game characters in it. There is also a story mode when most of the characters turn into a trophy and it’s up to some of the characters to save the other characters . Also your characters that you save you can play as them in story mode.

My second favourite video game is new super mario bros. You play as mario but if you want to play with a friend you can be luigi, blue toad,          and  yellow toad. There are 8 worlds and 1 special world. there are many items for you to get power like to fly around.

My third favourite game is kirbys return to dream land. you play as a pink puffball named Kirby. In thee game you can play as Kirby, Metaknight ,Waddledee,and King Dede this game I have not beaten so I can’t tell you about it.

My Job – journal 2 Jan 11

Every Thursday I do a paper route I do 16 houses around Camoson Crescent. It takes a lot of work because I walk around two or three blocks. Sometimes I see Mr.Mollinga ride his bike. The amount of money I get is about $18. I think it is a fair amount of money. Sometimes I get tips some are as big as $ 20 and some are $ 3.o0. My job is sometimes fun but sometimes boring because it is raining outside and wet it sometimes snows a bunch and I get wet and cold. Sometimes I get a partner to help me and after they come over to my house.

Pets I Wish I had Journal-January 18

Sometime I wish I had a pet hamster with brown fluffy fur but my mom says they keep you up all night. So I beg and beg but I do not get one. So I ask for a Dog that is energenic as I am but my mom says that you have to clean up after them so I beg and beg but it never works. So I ask for a  goldfish finally my mom said that we could have one so I cheered and smiled and today we have five goldfish and we started with seven. Goldfishes  are good pets.

A TRIP DOWN ISLAND – journal

On Saturday I went to Courtenay for the day to watch my nephew Caleb play in a volleyball tournament.  He is 15 years old.  I had to get up at 5:30 a.m. to make it in time for his 9:00 a.m. game.  We arrived at 9:11 a.m. so the first game of the set was already started.  They lost the first set, won the second set, and lost the third set by 2 points.  Caleb’s next match was at 11:20 so we went to Tim Horton’s for coffee and a donut.

Caleb’s team won the first set of his second game, lost the second set, and won the third.  They then got to play another game at 1:40 p.m.

During the break between games we went to Costco.  There were a lot of samples to test.  My favourite sample was probably the potato cheddar soup.  It was really good.  I also had a sample of chocolate, granola bar, two different cheeses, crackers, chicken, chocolate pretzels, lamb, and I was hoping for a bacon sample but it wasn’t ready.

On Caleb’s next game his team lost the first two sets so they were out of the tournament.  His team was 6^th out of 10 teams.  Caleb said that it was a pretty good ranking, but I don’t know.

We stopped at Walmart in Campbell River for groceries and on the way back to Port McNeill it was snowing.  Going down island was pretty fun.

REMEMBRANCE DAY – (journal)

 On November 11 it was Remembrance Day.  I marched in the parade from the Legion down to the cenotaph.  Ms. Sweeney asked if I would like to be the representative for Sunset School and place a wreath at the cenotaph during the ceremony. Hannah Leonard was also asked to place the wreath. On Remembrance Day it was cold and it rained and hailed.

         There were two girls from Sunset school that read the poem “In Flander’s Field”.

         Someone sounded the “Last Post” trumpet call.

We stood quiet and honored the soldiers for two minutes of silence.

         We sang “Oh, Canada” and “God Saved the Queen”.

         When the ceremony was over I went to the high school and had some hot chocolate and a hot dog.

         I looked at the pictures of the graduates in the hall of the high school and saw pictures of Clayton
Stoner, my sister Jaylene, my brother Mike, and even Mr. Mollinga!

         Remembrance Day was sad, but also happy too, because we have peace in our country.

THE SMURF’S – A Movie Review

This is my review about the movie “The Smurf’s” and I will try to not tell you all the good parts. There are over 100 Smurf characters with names like Grumpy, Clumsy, Gutsy, Papa, Brainy, Smurfette, and Hefty. The human characters in the movie are Patrick and Grace.

There is an evil wizard named Gargamal, and a cat named Asrael. The movie starts with the Smurf named Clumsy leading Gargamal into Smurf Town. Gargamal then chases some of the Smurfs into a vortex that leads them to earth. Asrael and Gargamal follow the Smurfs to earth.

From there the Smurfs end up at a person’s house after Clumsy fell into a box and the person took the box to their house. Then the Smurfs become friends with them and find out their names were Grace and Patrick.

I don’t want to ruin the movie for you so let’s leave it at that. I would recommend this movie for kids who like funny movies. I give this movie thumbs up!

The Super Human Book 1 The Beginning Journal3-jan 18

Beep! Boop! Bop! Zing!  That was all the noise that I, a.k.a. The Clayster,  heard around me in the lab. I hoped to get out soon. The scientists said I would get out soon, but they lied.  It made me so mad. They had chained me up, locked me down but I was trying to break out.  This time when I tried to escape I had set off an alarm.  They cuffed me up  and I yelled out, “ let me go”!  I got my hands out of the handcuffs and punched the big guy in the face.  From that point on I knew I was a wanted man.

I ran out of the lab as fast as I could.  The scientists called the cops but they did not know I, The Clayster,  was a master of disguise. I disguised myself as a bush and surprisingly it worked. I slowly walked towards some trees and moved very stealthy through the forest.  When I thought it was safe I started to run. Up ahead was a light so I carefully looked through the bushes. It was then that I figured out I had gone in a big circle. I groaned and moaned because I was really hungry.  Everyone knows that a super human is always hungry.  A policeman’s dog heard me and started to bark.   I ran as fast as I could go. There in front of me was a river and the policeman was right behind me.   I had to jump into the river.  SPLOOSH! The water was freezing cold.  I yelled out,  this water is cold! The dog dragged the policeman towards the river and then he was pulled into the water.  I had made it to the other side and crawled onto the river bank.   I saw the policeman floating down the river.

I quickly needed to build a shelter before I got hypothermia and died. I gathered some twigs and branches then desperately tried to make a fire so I would survive. Unfortunately the ground was wet and it was starting to rain. If I couldn’t make a fire I would then have to make shelter. I found ten planks of wood that would work perfect!  I found some hay and put it in a pile to make a roof and then used the wood and put them together in a teepee shape.  Then I put the hay into cracks to make it waterproof and darker. After the rain stopped  I made a blazing hot fire and my clothes dried really fast.

I had no trouble falling asleep but during the night my shelter collapsed while I was in it.   I am really going to have to take a carpentry class to learn how to make better shelters.   After I noticed that I hurt and could barely move I knew I might not be able to survive.  I decided to try to make crutches out of wood, they were wobbly but would work for now.  I had to try to make another shelter before dark.  It had already been hard to make the first shelter so I didn’t think I could do it again, especially while using crutches. It did take a while but I managed to do it in time just before dark.The next day I tried to walk around but I could barely get anywhere.   I struggled and then I realized that I’m hungry and thirsty.

And then I saw something really scary.  It was big and black, had sharp claws and glowing red eyes. It was a panther ready to pounce at me I started to run as fast as I could. But it out runned me and it jumped on me and bit my hand but for some reason it didn’t hurt me. So I made a loud noise and the panther ran away. My hand had no problem from the panther bite even though it was a deep bite. I had to move fast because it was too dangerous there.

I had to sneak out from the river side and go to somewhere warm and safe and I know you are thinking home but no I wish I could but I can’t  it’s too dangerous to go home. I had to run all the way to a small town with under a population of 100 I know it would be lonely but it would be safer than the river side. When I got there it was pretty nice they offered free equipment and space to build a house and some carpenters came to help me build my house. after 5 years I was a not a normal person in the town I forgot to tell you it was in texas.

Every year there was a men’s contest to see who was the strongest person in town. This was my first time going into that contest and I was just doing it for fun and I won. after the contest there was a big feast at the town hall. I was having so much fun that I completely forgot about being a super human.

But for some reason I had a felling that something wasn’t right I could hear small foot steps in the distance so I left the table and went outside  I looked outside to see what it was. It was the same panther as before it was time for it to never come back so I grabbed a rock and threw it at the panther. The panther was gone and never seen again everyone was chanting clayster for mayor clayster for mayor and even the mayor was screaming it too.   but I said”No thanks”. Everyone was sad but they didn’t get mad at me.

After that I went home and ran on my  treadmill.  On the news it said not to go on electronics because there was a thunderstorm going on but I didn’t listen to it so I kept on running on the treadmill soon thunder striked my house and made my treadmill go faster than it was asposed to go but I was running like it was normal speed. Then there was a click in my brain I yelled out” I KNOW WHAT MY POWER IS NOW” It is speed than he packed up to fulfil his destiny.  ( To Be continued In Book Two)
